As one of the registered dietitians with our Nourish Program, I’m dedicated to helping patients use the power of nutrition and lifestyle change to support heart health, recovery, and long-term wellness.

Nourish is designed to guide you toward a balanced, heart-healthy way of living through personalized education, practical tools, and ongoing support. We focus on:
 

  • Balanced Nutrition: Creating sustainable eating habits that emphasize whole, unprocessed foods — rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.

  • Heart-Healthy Habits: Understanding how food choices, physical activity, and stress management work together to promote cardiovascular wellness.

  • Personalized Support: Individual counseling and group education sessions that make healthy living achievable and enjoyable.
     

How do the sessions work?

In our sessions, I work with each participant to develop a plan that fits their lifestyle and health goals — whether it’s lowering cholesterol, managing blood pressure, or simply feeling better day to day. My goal is to make nutrition both nourishing and empowering, helping you build lasting habits that strengthen your heart and your confidence.

What happens at the first visit?

In an initial visit, I dedicate time to better understand where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to be. This begins with a thorough nutrition assessment which includes learning about your medical history, nutrition and lifestyle habits, food preferences, current symptoms of concern, and health and nutrition goals. You will be able to ask questions and define what a successful counseling experience looks like. At the end of the first visit, you’ll leave with at least one actionable step to help move you closer to your health goals.
