As one of the registered dietitians with our Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR) team, I’m passionate about helping patients rebuild their health through nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle change.
 

The Pritikin Program is a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to cardiac recovery that focuses on three core areas:

  • Healthy Eating: We teach practical ways to follow the Pritikin Eating Plan — a balanced, heart-healthy approach centered on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and minimally processed foods.

  • Exercise: Safe, supervised physical activity designed to strengthen the heart and improve endurance.

  • Mind-Body Wellness: Stress management and behavioral strategies that support long-term lifestyle change.
     

What happens in the sessions?

In nutrition sessions, I work closely with each participant to create realistic, enjoyable meal plans that support heart healing, lower cholesterol and blood pressure, and help maintain a healthy weight. My goal is to make healthy eating both approachable and sustainable, empowering you to take control of your heart health for life.
